I have a passion for learning and my patients cases are always on my mind when I am researching, discovering and adding to my knowledge! This allows me to adapt and suit my treatment for your horse or dog and I will not provide generalised treatment, advice or exercises. Everything is tailored to your specific case.

My Approach

The core of my treatment is the McTimoney chiropractic technique. This is a holistic and effective modality which works to realign and balance the animal’s musculoskeletal system by targeting areas of dysfunction and treating with fast but gentle movements. Your horse or dog is then in a better position for targeted exercise to improve their own bodies ability to be resilient and strong, maintaining their own body balance and therefore reducing the risk of compensatory associated pathology.

Treating your horse or dog is about so much more than one thing. Having different tools ensures that I am able to work with your animal to create a treatment appropriate for them and a rehab or prehab program that works for both of you.  I will also advocate for you and your animal when it comes to working with other professionals. I provide detailed reports and regularly collaborate with vets, farriers, other MSK practitioners in order to guarantee your animal has the very best care.

Saddle fitting has been a natural progression and a useful addition to my toolkit. As many of the symptoms of poor saddle fit and musculoskeletal discomfort cross over it is beneficial to do both. Fitting a saddle to a balanced body with a healthy posture and having the information required to ensure your horse is comfortable under saddle is crucial for longevity and a happy, healthy relationship between you and your horse at any level, in any discipline.
